Job Description
Brand Activation Specialist will assist the Head of Strategic Marketing in driving the implementation of strategic marketing plans in B2C and B2B arena across Western Cape region to support the sales teams across the organisation to achieve targeted growth per market segment.
The role requires daily liaison with sales, marketing and suppliers to roll out activities as per agreed marketing plan, within predefined budget.
A key focus area will include social media activity across targeted community groups, whilst leveraging off the Vox national brand activity and complying to the Vox CI elements.
From time to time, the candidate will be required to perform other marketing support functions as required by management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Help design and oversee brand activations in specific precincts to increase brand awareness of Vox 2. Ensure the FTTH sales team have sufficient marketing collateral to roll out a successful activation 3. Provide weekly reports for activations, inclusive of ROI calculations 4. Lead generation 5. Data capturing 6. Develop a content plan and manage the Facebook community groups in specific FTTH precincts, post in community groups we operate in and engage with potential customers online 7. Conduct debriefing sessions with FTTH sales team to improve processes and overall impact of each Vox Fibre event/activation. 8. Assist the FTTH sales team in in-mall setup and promotions 9. Identify strategic partners & negotiate trade exchange deals to maximise Vox exposure |
- Track competitive activity within the designated precincts and report on them weekly
- Administrative activity – campaign tracking and reporting, supplier onboarding and liaison, financial record keeping and reporting, weekly online team meetings, monthly review meetings
- Create content – graphic and written copy to promote specials in specific precincts
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Marketing/Communications experience with social media background & event management experience
- Diploma in Strategic Marketing & Brand Building (ideal)
Skills/Experience
- Relevant experience in marketing, in ICT industry advantageous
